THE conCa
In 2008 we met while studying oenology. In a few months, our interest and curiosity in fermentation and winemaking led us to start making wine in October 2009.
THE CELLAR
La Conca de Barberà is located in the north of the province of Tarragona, Catalonia (Spain). Our winery is located in Pira, but it is in Barberà de la Conca where we have the vast majority of our estates located.
The climate is Mediterranean inland since La Conca is located close to the sea but just behind the pre-coastal mountain range and surrounded by different mountain ranges that limit its extension.
WINE TOURISM
We will show you first-hand all the corners and history of the modernist winery of Pira, one of the so-called “Cathedrals of Wine” of Catalonia. A museum-style visit, with the aroma of wine and history that will end with a tasting of 3 of the winery’s wines. Organic wines that will convey the essence of our region.
